Maps are cool. I have no skill in designing them myself so I have been a big fan of map only products. It is amazing the things people can create no a days with the computer. There are some really cool products out like Dungeons of Doom and the maps in other products have greatly increased in quality as well. And it was only a matter of time before some released a single huge map. That is what the Kyndgdoms full map is. It is literally the full map of the setting and it is big.

The Kyndoms Full map is a color map of the Kyndoms. The maps can be found on their web site also in color but frankly, not even close to being this big. If I had access to a plotter I would print this out and laminate it for my wall. It is big, in full color, and it looks great. According to the description it is one hundred and eleven inches by eighty three inches. I am not sure if even a plotter can handle that. There are no breaks in the map, it is a single huge map. The file size is a whopping twenty seven megs and that is not zipped. Even viewing it at ten percent size I have to scroll around a bit to see the whole thing.

Now, I am not sure such a map is actually that useful if one can not get it printed out. I guess someone might have a large screen or projection TV of sorts they can use to view this monstrosity but other then that I just do not see it being used that often. But it is pretty darn cool looking.

The Kyngdoms is a setting that can be found entirely on their page. They have a PDF of the setting and an Atlas version of the map one can buy. The website though does contain all the maps just not as big and easy to see. It has all the information just not as well organized and easy to read and find things. The Kyndoms web site is frankly the best single preview of a book ever since one can preview everything. The setting its self is very detailed oriented and has lots of information in it. There is not much more that can be said except to just look over the web site and see if it is something that looks interesting and then investigate it further.
