The latest "IN" thing with 3E......

Most likely the next big thing will be either mega-adventures or campaign settings. If Wotc ever SRD's the info from Epic Levels, that will open a floodgate of material and will instantly become the "big thing".

By the way, SSS just announced that Nightfall has been elevated to godhood in their next supplement, titled (appropriately) "From Dusk to Nightfall"

;)

I hope the next In Thing is modules. There haven't been many new ones lately, and I'd like to see some more. I want them well done, with beautiful maps and handouts, like the ones Kenzer does.
Hear bloody hear!

Anyway, whatever the next big thing is, let's hope it doesn't involve books full of twinky Feats and Prestige Classes.

Yeah. And I really hope they arent mega-dungeon-crawls. Give me some mega city adventures or wilderness ones.

Not that dungeon crawls are bad per se, but we've seen plenty of 'em already.

Sorry Canis! I didn't mean to rile any feathers (if you knew me at all you'd know I tend to not things too seriously and was just making light of all the "fuss")

Hmmm... I wonder if I should try to resurrect my "hug" thread...

But yes; let's stop all this bickering on the "Book of [notices twitch in Canis eye], uh...stuff and just get back to rolling dice, having fun and continue creating our wonderful "Netbook of Nightfall"!

It appears I misinterpreted. Making light of fuss is actually the best cure for the twitchiness in my eye. That and the "Netbook of Nightfall" :D

Actually, it's kind of scary what a hair trigger I'm developing on the boards lately. I think it comes of dealing with undergraduates all day.

Canis- "What do you mean you lost ALL your data?"

Undergraduate- "Well, I know you've only told me 2 dozen times that I should keep back-ups, but I never thought I would lose the Zip disk."

Canis (sotto vocce)- "Urge to kill... rising"

I game to escape.

And in that spirit... I feel a druid coming on, and must second Xarlen's desire for wilderness stuff. I shall build a vast army of woodland creatures, find evil-doers, and have my army chew up their naughty bits.

Now, how many squirrels can I have as companions at 1st level?

From what hear Malhavoc Press will have 3.2 Page PDF download on their site by the end of the week, a sequal to their most criticaly aclaimed and best selling work to date:
Module P2. Nightfall & the Cake
