The Le Games: Headless Horseman

This caught my eye on RPGNow. I've always been a sucker for the horseman, from the old Disney cartoon to the roving Ravenloft Darklord to Burton's movie.

But I've never bought anything from the Le Games, and this thing hasn't been up long enough to have garnered any official reviews. Have any of you bought it, and if so, would you recommend it for the price?

Well, I don't have this particular PDF, but I have 13 other titles from TheLe Games. I like their products, especially the "Unorthodox" line. They are generally well-written and always give me something new and different to use in my games.

Now I'll have to go look for this Headless Horseman PDF. See what you started.

I was lucky enough to have The Le send me a preview. I have to say, I like the approach to creating a "generic" headless horseman used by Ewan Conradie. The product offers a template that creates a truly fearsome and deadly creatue that can easily be dropped into just about any campaign. There are also examples, including a fighter, sorcerer and rogue headless horseman.

Overall, I would say that if the concept itself piques your interest, the delivery--in my judgement--is a success, so I would imagine you would be happy with your purchase. Also, I don't know how important this is for you, but the art is very atmospheric. Lots of headless things, but in many different eras and cultures.

Now, just remember, I didn't pay for this, so I may not be the best judge of value.
