Is anyone else excited for the upcoming Mongoose publication "The Quintessential Halfling"? I believe it's due out within a month or so...

Halflings have always been a favorite race of mine to play. Such happy, simple lives who's love of food simply MUST make you smile. And they're not smug, like those stupid elves....

"Every halfling adventurer, regardless of class, will find their place in this book. The naïve but determined adventurer, the beguiling trickster, the lethal assassin, the cryptic fortune teller, the master chef, the wise old crone, the undetectable thief..."

The master chef???!!! I'm all over that one like a mule on a pancake.

Anyway, just wanted to see how much halfling love is out there...

I don't know about buying this book. I'm a little burnt out on splatbooks. But I do love halflings. They're the Cosa Nostra of my campaign world. None of this cute practical joker foodie nonsense. Uh-uh. My halflings are more like Sammy "The Bull" Gravano in miniature.
