OOC: DM, just an idea, but I believe the non-rogues are locked and loaded in the direction of this trap; if it moves it's going down. Until then, why not just cycle the rogues until they succeed or fail? :D

OOC: Well, they're one failure away, so it may not be such a big deal. If they fail and it's still stuck, if you guys all decide to wait and attack when it finally moves toward you, we can just skip to when it eventually makes its first save (bound to happen eventually), then see what happens.
 

OOC: Ha ha, no need to wait, ... that trap has it coming. If they fail, I'm blasting it whether it's moving or not (this time for sure!), and I hope I'll be joined by dragon's breath and thunderwave...:D

...however, you finally hear a *snap!* as the dagger holding the trap back breaks. The dagger will foul the contraption a bit longer (slowed till save), but you know it's finally going to be able to move out of the alcove soon.
