A martial controller would have to be a beast master or the like.

A pack of dire Rotweilers is easily as good as a fireball.

This is a nice idea acutally although while forefilling the requirment of a controller your acutally flooding the field with defenders ,alot more than a wizard could. Perhaps the beasts you could employ would be small harrasing animals casuing various effects.

Let loose a bag of diseased rodents who would bite the heels of your enemy nauseasing them as well as distracting them. simiarly effect could be done with small birds, you could even release a swarm of bee's controlling thier harrasment of the field. This way they affect the enemy without acutally being a true valid target for them to attack with any real efficeny but at the same time they are not a wall between you and the enemy like a fighter is.

Psionic power sources has been pretty well confirmed (necessary for Eberron and indicated by...one of the designers, i'm really bad at names...as being in dev with the rest of the rules).

Nature power source has been frequently theorized by the community at large.
Psionic
Defender | Psychic Warrior
Striker | Monk
Leader |Divine Mind
Controller |Psion

Nature
Defender |Barbarian / Totemist
Striker |?
Leader |?
Controller |Druid

I like the idea of a martial controller who leaves enemies demoralized and shaken. Kind of a reverse-warlord, if debuffs are built into the warlord class.

Though they've already said they see the monk as a melee striker, I could see a monk performing a controller role. If you combine and expand the general concepts of "stunning fist" and "flurry of blows," a monk could weave through a battlefield leaving enemies stunned and hurt. Probably not going to happen, but maybe an idea that could be applied to another class.

Striker, yes. Divine, no.

Unless new info has been revealed, he has been mentioned as the ivine striker on the youtube vids, in posts on the wotc boards, and I'm pretty sure in a couple of blogs. I actually think one of the early articles even said it. Since those are easier to find I'll look for it.

I've never seen this, and I watched the Vid and have read the articles.

Can you provide quotes that say divine?

I'm currently looking at the youtube vids as we speak. The article section on the site is acting funny atm.

Along those same lines, though, where has anybody heard he will be martial? Anyone got a source on that?

As soon as I get something I'll post asap.
