My second gaming group includes the 12 year old daughter of one player and the eight year old son of another couple. The way the eight-year-old spouts stuff from the PHB, I'm sure he'd be spending lots of time here if he was allowed to surf more...

Wow, I am now only among the thirty eldest!
I ran a game for a couple of three year olds once, closer to 'let's pretend' than true D&D, but they rolled dice and told me what they were doing. They wanted to try what was taking up so much of my time.

The Auld Grump, mostly I just made stuff up for them.

My daughter started playing D&D with us when she was 10 and she is 15 now. It's cool that several have mentioned teaching the game to new players, especially the kids.
