The map galleries have been available for a while.

That, and of course if you don't pay a DDI subscription, you don't have access to the galleries that have been freely available for years. But that's just reviving another dead horse.

That's not quite true. All the 3.5 era maps are still free to use and download. It's only the preview maps and Dungeon magazine maps that have been placed inside the DDI.

Sorry, but I wasn't clear. In addition to the lack of a single file that the OP was complaining about, I meant to include the "art" galleries (especially the older ones) which now require a paid subscription to see.

I am glad to see they finally put up the H's, P1, and the MM after I complained about it.

There's still loads of free stuff available without a subscription.

I guess it's a testament to the new site because I was never aware of any of these galleries until now.

This format for archival of articles is far superior to how it used to be done. It makes it far easier to find stuff and the grouping makes more sense.

Yeah - the map galleries are nothing new, just the fancy new shell around them.

Definitely worth mentioning though - it's a great resource.
