The next Trend in Trading Games: Microscopic Space Fleets [Very much OT]

There's this passage in the Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy about a vast armada of battleships that gets swallowed by a dog.

It's always stuck by me, always lurking in the back of my mind and popping up at time I really shouldn't be laughing. But I digress; When nanotechnology becomes available, this could be an invaluable tool to teach youngster how to use microscopes; we give 'em a game that uses incredibly small pieces and stat records that they have to.

Hmm... Maybe I should go talk to a shrink.... :)

Or maybe you should go join the Extropian mailing list... www.extropy.org... ideas like the one you just mentioned are absolutely mundane compared to the concepts these guys come up with...

But yeah, way cool idea. Where do I buy a booster pack? :D

:D Dunno yet, but be prepared to buy the tiniest pair of tweazers you can find.

Fun fact: The 'probe' at the end of an electron microscope, a wire that narrows to be an atom wide at the end, is commonly made by taking a piece of wire and cutting it with standard shears at an angle.

This is what University taught me.

And what makes you think you don't already have a booster pack? Or ten million? You'd never know.

Even more disturbing , The nanobattle could be fought inside your body!!

" No Officer, they are not kissing they are playing a game of Zirkon death fleet , Honest!!"

:D
