The Order of Light!

Sabaron

First Post
The Order Light is housed in a large stone tower, 40' in diameter and 50' high. It is located near the Lake of the Sacred Tortoise. Atop the tower flies three banners: A crossed staff and hammer, with a blue frog over them. The banner itself is green. The second banner is red, with a gold griffin rampant on it; the emblem of House Corlagon. The third is green, with two crossed ghost hands on it; the banner of Maestro.

As you enter the door to the tower, you are amazed at the array of weapons on the walls. Blunt weapons of every variety line the walls, many of them exotic foreign weapons you have never seen before. You see a tall blond man sparring with a young student wearing a green kimono. He turns and looks at you.

"Greetings, traveler! I am Sabaron Corlagon, fourth son of House Corlagon, Paladin of Ra, and Grandmaster of the Order of Light. Welcome to my humble dojo. I am at your service."

"I can teach the use of a Staff or Hammer, the vicious attacks of the Wolf, a powerful kicking style, relying on the Foot, or I can teach you the ancient arts of fighting Western (wind) style."

A cloaked figure approaches the Dojo, "Greetings, I am the Maestro-and a practioner of many different weapons and styles...I'm interested in mastering a few of them, right now the staff style, can you help me?"

"I am more than happy to accept you, traveler"

Sabaron heads to one of the weapon racks. He picks out a large, thick staff made from steel, with gold inlays. He then returns to his new student."

"This is for you. I shall train you in it's use. Now, all I need is your name, and you will be an official member of my dojo."

I graciously accept your gift, my name is of no real importance, however I am called the Maestro.

With Sabarons help, the Maestro trains in the use of the staff style...

"I shall show you to your quarters then"

Sabaron leads the Maestro on a tour of the dojo, showing him the main training ground, his new quarters, the listfield, the armory, and a walkthrough of the main tower.

"I hope you find your stay here fruitful and that you shall graduate physically and spiritually improved. Remember to let me know how your fights go, Maestro. Also, good luck on winnning the armor. :)"

Sabaron bows and departs for the Tourney grounds, leaving Maestro to get accustomed to his quarters.

Sabaron approaches his unhappy student and puts his arm around the Maestro's shoulders.

"Don't let this defeat throw off your balance. You still have much potential, and it would be unwise to throw it away. Relax, fight a different foe; don't go chasing Bayne immediately."

"Fight him again once you have grown spiritually, and victory will be assured." :)

"Besides, I have regained our dojo's honor in a duel against Dalamar. Just defeat Noir and we shall continue to be honored!"
