Yeah, that definately strikes me as being the art for the DM screen.

I don't know if its because of the smaller resolution, but it looks "cleaner" than I remember the old art. Feels like its missing the odd line constructions that gave it a "frayed" look.

He's been honing his craft for 30 years, and this seems to meet that style and the 5E style in the middle.

I think the Fiend Folio posed Githyanki warrior is my favorite part.

A robust campaign was mounted to make people believe that air ought to be breathable, and now the air in Sigil is a lot cleaner.

Went and put the Great Foundry out of business, they did! How am I supposed to recognize when I've crossed into the Lower Ward if it's not covered in a thick blanket of pollutant-laden smog?

I was thinking the same thing - he's hitting the sweet spot between his 2e Planescape style and the current 5e style. Basically, it appeals to the nostalgia of long-term fans, but is close enough to the 5e style to be familiar to new fans, while also different enough to be intriguing for them.
