Scott leaves WotC a few days later.

What's next?
WotC sells D&D to White Wolf. WW immediately drops the Dungeon part and announces the release of Dragon: The Sacrificial Virgins.

5e announced for release..... next week.

PDFs of older TSR books return to the market, but with 30% of the text redacted.

No, I heard they sold D&D to GSW. For the short term the only change is that D&D minis will be replaced by warhammer figs.

Next year however they're going to come out with 5e. PC races will be 8 different kinds of elves, Skaven, Dwarves/Scottsman, and Orkz. PC classes will be randomly determined, and all combat will be resolved using an MMO.
