The Passion of the Christ

ReallY? Dammit - I was sure that the big DM in the sky had just slapped the half-celestial template on him. Now I've got to change that so I can use him appropriately in my planar campaign :)

*Runs off to change Jesus' NPC sheet*

So, how many times did he take toughness? What rolling method did he use?

The "official" rating AFAIK is the age you need to be to watch the movie (14, 18, or any). I haven't heard of any restrictions on Passion, though this doesn't mean that there aren't. The 14 is handed in a semi-random fashion among movies that feature some degree of violence or sex. The 18 is automatically used for pornography, but not much else. Overall, it's an unreliable system that everyone ignores.

Then there is the system used for rentals, which again uses age but is more flexible and just a guideline, not a law. And again, thoroughly ignored.

Then there is a system used for broadcasts on major networks, which uses colors (green/yellow/red) and is somewhat more reliable and again only a self-regulation thing. Red means something that would probably get a 14 at the cinema (stuff that would get an 18 doesn't get onto major networks, of course).

But I have no clue as to what "G" means.

That's really interesting. I just searched CNN to find an article about what I thought I heard . . . and couldn't find anything :( Now I am confused as well

Eh, assuming that G means the same in Italy, I wouldn't be surprised that Passion (and Hannibal) got no restrictions. As I mentioned, it's a fairly random thing. I've seen very tame stuff get the 14, fairly gross things get no restrictions, and there was a movie - I wish I could recall the title - that only had one short under-the-bedsheet sex scene (ie, like Neo and Trinity) and somehow got the 18. It's really meaningless. Parents generally use reviews, word of mouth, and trailers to decide whether a flick is right for their kids or not.

That's Improved Toughness, baby! He knew about it even though he was slightly before Complete Warrior came out. It's the whole omniscience thing. But you can't call him munchkin, since he did take Skill Focus (carpentry) too.

As for stats, I am reliably informed he got 50 point buy, but only because the DM was his dad. Really!
