Dog, Polar, and Rock form up and start marching north towards the Landing Site.

Pokey double times it and angles North by Northwest to meet up with Dana and Nails.

Dana and Nails get their bearings and head towards the object. After about 50 meters they run into a crevice about 15 meters wide and 6 meters. As you look for a way to get across, Dana catches movement just north of her. Two warrior bugs are climbing out of the crevice and one notices you and rears up.

OOC: Do we need orders to fire 1st? which is a higher priority, the mission or a dead bug?

Nails hastily speaks into his comm, "Sarge, we got two hostiles on our coordinates. I'm moving to engage." He then moves up into lockstep with Dana and commences to fire at the Bugs.

(OOC: Hoo YEAH!)

OOC: There are no orders not to fire if you see a bug and the mission is to secure the area. "The only good bug is a dead bug!"

Dog drops to one knee and draws a careful bead on the lead bug with his rifle before opening fire. "Anyone know if theses things are good fried?"

To hit: 16 (roll)+5 (ranged attack bonus) = 21 total

damage(assuming I hurt it ) 2d8= 3+7=10

Upon hearing the gunfire, Pokey runs to the sound. Looking at the display & speaking into his comm, "Nails, I hear your shots and I am approximately 70 meters to your south"

OOC: Should I assume distance and direction?
