"Lord Melkolf rules Lindor, but you'll never get an audience with him. There are lots of other nobles who fled their own lands here, but few have any real authority here. The Guilds have been meeting with mercenary groups all over the place, and hiring lots of them, and you might be able to meet with a Guildmaster that way. The City Guard is also hiring, but I doubt you could get a meeting with the Commander of the Guard."

Leonard takes a step behind and says, "Well then, perhaps it is best we meet with the guilds. If someone else wouldn't mind taking the lead, I've got some other things on my mind."

I nodd finishing my stew and bread and push them aside for the servent girl to pick them up. After i grab my maps and begin looking through them for all guilds in the area.

There are numerous guilds. The largest by far is the Merchant's Guild, on the far side of the city. The Messenger's Guild and the Sage's Guild are each several blocks away from it; the three of them make up the heart of the Commerce District. Much nearer to your present location are the Alchemist's Guild, the Blacksmith's Guild, and the Mason's Guild; these are centered within the Great Market, which starts just three blocks from your present location.

I tap my fingure on the map indicating the Merchant's guild. I then take a large gulp for mug of ale.
"this one it's the bigest and more likely to have work they are willing to pay for. if not there are many other." I pick up my mug again finish it and fold my maps. "Whenever your ready."

I stand pocketing every thing including my room key and fold my maps into my pack exsept the town map and start heading for the door.
