I think 'Primal Codex' dealt with this kind of thing, but I can't remember much about it, other than that. I'll have to look into it further. . . does anyone else have some info on that PDF (or book?) though?

Have you guys thought about using "primitive" weapons rules from DMG?

I keep that paragraph in our house rules book.

For primitive weapons I use the rules in the 3.0 AEG they work well enough at showing the lowered effectiveness.
