[sblock=OOC to Gene]Wait, bastion of defence increased Mal's will to 14. 13 misses him. Therefore Mal isn't stunned. Therfore Mal can use his combat challenge against the dragon to prevent movement (+10 on his AoO). What do we do?[/sblock]

Aelek stares at the dragon.

[SBLOCK=OOC]I don't have my book undrehadn, so I don't know against which status I need to save and which end at the end of the dragon turn... I suppose being stunned I can do nothing, so I'll do that.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=OOC to All]
A) I cheated on the Dragon's Bloodied number because he actually became bloodied at the beginning of his turn from ongoing damage. I forgot until just recently. I can redo his actions if ANYONE has an objection.

B) Yes, you are not stunned. Mal, the attack you get from Combat Challenge is not an OA, so Combat Superiority does not apply. You can get the basic melee attack (you can roll it) but the dragon still moves. Remember you can't shift onto the icy squares.

C) Yeah, the saves against the frightful presence are next round. If you already rolled good, keep it.
[/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]When an effect is save ends, you don't have to roll at teh end of each round. So we are scared this round and we save to see if the effect is gone for next round. Or it is a mechanic for the dragon effect that make it work a bit differently?[/SBLOCK]

Seeing an opening as the dragon slips away, Mal gets in a good thrust of his blade.

Immediate Interrupt (1d20+8=23, 1d10+4=13)

Then he circles the beast and attacks again but misses.

Standard Attack (1d20+8=13)

[sblock=OOC]Mal moves to N11 (cost 2), O11, P10 and then ends at O9. If Tels steps forward, he'll have the beast in a flanking position.

I mark the dragon. I don't want Tel to override my mark on his turn (no challenge), I am currently fresh so we want the dragon to attack me. Plus, if the dragon can breath again, he would be allowed to attack Tel + other people without violating the challenge. If I mark it and he wants to breath on me, I am the only target available.

Current defences with Bastion of defence:

AC 20
Ref 15
fort 18
Will 14

[sblock=DM]Arden isn't stunned, right? I suppose moving one square up would give him line of sight. Invisiblecastle isn't loading, could you roll for me?[/sblock]

Arden takes a step to better see the dragon, then unleashes his power in a projectile of cold, trying to slow its reactions; Then he unleashes another bolt of arcane energy at the beast, hoping to penetrate its defenses. [sblock=ooc]move to I16, Chill strike 1d20+5 vs for;2d8+5 cold dmg + daze; then, action point and magic missile 1d20+5 vs ref;2d4+5 force dmg[/sblock]

Reset!

You follow a long, winding passage from the kobold chieftain’s throne room down and down into the earth. Eventually, the finely worked stone tunnels give way to natural passages. Finally, you come upon a large cavern. The air is unnaturally cold in here. In the center of the room is a large pool of frozen dark water. The cavern is quiet. You can see the dragon emerge from behind a pillar, its eyes narrowing at the insult of you intruding on it's chosen lair.

Mira recoils instinctively at the sight of such a malevolent, even if it did have a beautiful form. Steeling herself for the fight, the girl runs forward, skirting the edge of the icy pool. As she moves her hand dips into her shuriken pouch and then flashes forward sending the sharpened metal points at the brutes face to blind it.

(Move to J5 (spending an AP for a second move action), Combat Advantage (First Strike)
Blinding Barrage on Dragon = 18 Hit,
Damage = 14, and Dragon is blind until the end of my next turn)

Arden waits for Mira to attack. Seeing she blinded the beast, he moves a few steps forward and unleashes an eldritch missile of force, which misses widely the bulky creature.

[sblock=ooc] move to I13; magic missile 11 vs ref...MEH! [/sblock]
