The Retaking of Forgehold OOC-4E (Full)

Initiative:
For sake of speed, but post order, but with a consideration of what people says. I could be the first to post, but I can tell: "I'm attacking Minion 3, but after Arden have used his blast attack. If Minion 3 is down, I can make up to BigBadBoss behind and use my encounter power." In that case, we will have to wait for Arden action.

Narative Control:
I don't mind the master override for speed either. generally, he is more aware what a stupid move is and won't do it, even if he doesn't go for the optimum.

Tactical Map:
A map with numbers and letter on top/side for easier tracking for everyone. Even if it is not updated, it is easy to see it when you take teh last post and know that Minion 2 is at A5 and Mal is at G3 since the last update.

About initiative, i'd go with respecting the initiative order, in a reasonable way. If one is online at one moment and is second or third in order and knows he won't be able to post again soon, obviously posting intended actions is all right; on the other hand, if he is, like, last or late anyway in the action order there may well be major changes in the situation and battlefield, and waiting might be more reasonable; also, there are situations in which you can't really have an idea of what will happen next.

I agree with Velmont. An update may be only needed in case of major changes in positioning and battlefield features.

I would like to go with actions being resolved in the rolled initiative order. If someone is taking too long to post though (12 days) in a fight, just have the GM handle the action with something simple(an at will, or setting up an action for next turn), the same if their intended action is made irrelevant.

I agree with Velmont on using the map for clarity.

I'm pretty much fine with whatever - I'd prefer initiative order, but CG is the DM, and that's where the hard work is, so I'd defer.

Okay, unless we have any vehement objections...

Initiative will be in rolled order.

I will be rolling initiative.

I have some new solutions for the maps.

I will occasionally just resolve someone's turn.

Now can someone with a ranged attack please deal 3 hp of damage to the Kobold or tell me you let him get away.

I am currently without my laptop and typing on a PS3 without the ability to copy\paste so no invisible casltle to resolve dice rolls. Would it be possible for you to handle the rolls for me?

1d20+8 and 1d6+6 for sly flourish shuriken

The map is ripped out of the DMG pdf. (Did I just give something away?)
The tokens and map are MapTool and Token Tool.

I make the images for the tokens in Excel with screenshots.

FYI: I got in trouble for opening maptools yesterday at work. :)

I'm gonna be a little more restricted in when I can post. Typical turns will be done at night.
