Well, she can use the pillar that she is next to to grant cover for hiding, but if we string together the Dazed's she'll be fine since daze grants CA. That and flanking something the size of a Dragon shouldn't be too bad.

A) Calling me on blown rules calls belongs HERE, not in sblocks. I'm doubly annoyed cause you are wrong.

B) Melee Attacks and Ranged Attacks Only: Attack penalties from concealment apply only to the targets of melee or ranged attacks. PHB, p. 281

Total concealment doesn't effect area attack, he targeted the last squares you were all in. Blindess only causes attack penalties through total concealment.

Mal, Remember that while your speed is 2, you can still move 2, charge 2 and Mark.

As I pointed out it the other thread, the dragon is blind, he shoudn't have hit me at all with the -5 to attack.

EDIT : Are you sure? I only see -5 at attack rolls in the RAW.

EDIT2 : Hum, yes, you are right. I see a one line addition to the Area attack description mentionning that. They are taking the exception design a bit far in this case; it could have been made clearer right under the concealment entry.

Doesn't change my action much. Still move next to the dragon and miss it.

Well, under concealment the bonuses are listed as "against melee and ranged attack" only, so...
Also DON'T forget that brute strike is reliable, if you missed you can try again after all...

Mal, if you want, you can wait to mark the dragon. I have marked him and I need to get hit to get my infernal wrath bonus, so I don't mind ot be teh one marking the dragon this round. Also, it will spread the joy a bit as teh dragon has already hit you.

Besides that, Mal is also Weakened from the breath so Aelek would deal more damage.
