The Shield

Vic has had evidence planted against him before and he's gotten out of it before. It will be great to see how they do it this time

But this time its multiple trumped up evidence from different sides. There's the CI and now there's "money train???" money found in Lem's place.

I'm wondering a couple things.

1. Is planting the money an original part of Kav's plan, yeah I know he's making it up as he go, but did he plan on doing that before Mackey's visit.

2. Is Mackey bating him to make such a mistake

I'll have to buy it now. Is that where the funeral clip from the promos comes from?

Indeed it is.

Wait, I must have missed something. Lem didn't have any money Train cash?

Kavanah planted some money at Lem's place (that's what it looked like to me).

Are you talking about at the end of the ep? I thought he was planting the $500 at Vic's place (the loot emolia said Vic was going to pay her). Along with a map with the location of Lem's death circled.

ah ok, I couldn't tell and i assumed it was lem's. I'd think vic's place would be more secure.

It was Vic's place. That's why Kavanaugh told Vic that police cars were there waiting for him: to keep him from going home, giving Kavanaugh free reign at the house.

Good starting episode. This show is intense. The way they've done things is setting up a tragic ending. They took the nicest guy on the strike team, and are basically making him eat all the bad things the strike team has done ruining his reputation after he is dead. Vic has to know that Lem did not deserve to be treated like he is.

Vic and Shane did all the worst stuff. Lem paid for it.

It's not going to end well. Vic and Shane won't have a happy ending.

I feel like I'm watching some kind of epic tragedy with this show that's slowly unfolding. I love this show. I never feel like I've wasted my time with the Shield. I can't recall a single episode where I felt I was cheated by the writers. This show is just tight and great to watch.

I'll be picking this series up after Season 7. It'll be seven of the best seasons of televison ever made by man. I still can't believe more people aren't into this show.

This was a NICE episode and I know it will for sure blow up in a lot of people's faces. Police trying to set up their own. It's going to be hard for people to pin things on vick knowing that an IAD working directly under the police chief tried to set up the cop.

Claudette's integration speech was done very well. Speaking both to Kav and to the CI. It put into perspective how bad the department thinks vik is and kinda of forshadows that Vik is going to get his before this show is over.

The next episode should be interesting, as we'll all want to know does Shane let an innocent man be torchered and killed before he confesses.
