The SRD

Why is the SRD hard to find on the Wizard's Website? You have to know what you are looking for to find it. I couldn't find any links that lead to it anymore, including the link that used to be on the Modern d20 page. Or is it just me and my web-fu is failing?

That's what I had to do. Putting SRD into the Wizard's search engine doesn't work, you have to spell out the entire "System Reference Document" to get it to search it.

Well, that may mean that nobody put the specific keyword you're looking for into their pages to be found by the search.

Frequently, a very busy website wants to avoid very short search strings. The shorter the string, the more resources the search requires.

How hard is it to remember www.wizards.com/d20 ? ;)

I've had problems with Wizard's search option as well... google has proven to be more effective at searching Wizard's site then searching their own site is (at least if you're looking for something you know is on the site).

It kind of makes it hard to find things if you have to know exactly where to look in the first place. It's a bit sad that Google is better for searching the Wizards site than their own search engine.

Well, it's not there for the casual browser or for gamers - it's there for publishers. So it's kept kinda "out of the way".

They don't mind gamers using it, but that's not why it's there.
