Does the dragon support you ?

I have my own homebrew world. I steal Greyhawk, realms, Judges guild etc and toss it together.
The drow issue to me sucked. Why I already knew most of it because I have the module g1,g2,g3,d1,d2,d3, so it was a nice flavor of the month.
Also i am an old fart and no longer hold that everything in the dragon mag must make it into my world. I started doing this in the mid eighties when I got tired of players asking can I play xyz npc as pc. Since the npc class had special powerups normal pc did not.
the dragon mag has to support a couple of people
New kids and adults who are learning the games.
Journeymen with 2 or more years in game
Old farts.
Now they also have to support greyhawk and Forgetful realms.
Do you have to read all the articles. H E double hockey sticks I did read all in the 80's especially the ficition and alternity section. Unless I was really really bored.
Now if the mag is not up to your standards, start your own, or at least start throwing out well written ideas and posting them here.
I noticed in the late 80's and I noticiting it now. The dragon has about a 2 year life cycle. Running from newby info to journeyman to old farts and start all over. Now sometimes you get a great month which has a little bit for everyone other times you don't but this happens with a lot of mags.
My wife has 6 mag subscription from Oprah, to cat fancy. She does read or keep all. Some issues she states it was a waste of paper and ink however I can take the same issue have people fighting for it here in the office.
So now you done griping, I tell what I tell all talented people.
Quit wasting my time with your griping , you got talent show me your stuff.
Ticked off a friend one day saying that. He now has nice chainmail and makes nice coins.
