Yay! Horacio, perhaps the most addicted of those who read story hours, has come to my aid!

Here, have some of this trout.

;)

Horacio takes the trout and eats it, then he runs to the Story Hour forum to get another fix

Heh, very clever way to promote your story hour, C. My promo thread on General D got 10 views, I think, and plummeted off page 1 even with a bump.

Now I see the key to success.

Fish.

P.S. I'm already reading about a dozen SHs (and writing my own to boot), but I promise on a slow work day (i.e. weekdays) I'll drop by and see what you've got to offer.

I definitely think we should see more trouts in gaming - much like quiche, I feel them to be a seriously underconsidered facet of rp'ing, in the same vein as other marine creatures. What of the important roles of herring, mackeral and mussels, eh?

Fish, truly the forgotten side of D&D.

Lazybones: :) I try and make my story hour links appealing to someone or another. Planescape references in one update, 'The Chattering Mimir', brought the ps3e boys to my aid in bumping the thread ;) (my story hour has a fair few PS influences, like the mimir - a wonderful tool for dispersing new information to the party as and when you feel like it - and more will become apparent later on).

Thank's for saying you'll even consider reading my story hour. If I've managed that, then this thread has served its purpose!

I think I'll go and check yours out too, since I happen to have time to spare for a few more story hours...

Now, back to trout...
