Believe me folks, even thought I seem rather reactive in my words, I also see a fair potential for humour. While shocked I have also been smiling... I will certainly skim through the book and reserve final judgement at that time. Maybe I should write and post here a review, as soon as I get a copy from -- predictably enough -- Walmart? (Yes I'm a cynical consumer!)

Well, while i doubt i would buy the DnD for Dummies, i sort of think it is a neat idea. If a product like that had existed in the 80's, maybe my Mom wouldn't have had such a s*it-fit over DnD! It is a book i will definitely thumb thru for pleasure. I'm actually expecting it to have humor galore, with little cartoons like the early PH had.
