Legend
Who would win in a fight: a warblade, hexblade, duskblade, blade bravo, blade dancer, bladesinger, invisible blade, shining blade of Heironeous, incarnum blade, revenant blade, shadowblade, bloodstorm blade, eternal blade, swordsage, spellsword, Knight of the Sword, sword dancer, sword of righteousness, soulknife, or whisperknife?

The interesting thing about Free For Alls is that the winner invariably has more to do with an ability to form quick ad-hoc alliances against the others instead of their actual fighting ability. So I'd say which ever one of them put the most ranks into Diplomacy, Intimidate, and Bluff, alongside a high charisma score.

The Mage Blade.

Obviously, the classes not on the list above are the real winners because they're not involved in yet another crazy "who would win?" fight.

Robert "The pointy end goes...ah nevermind." Ranting

Where are the blunt classes, I ask?

It's a heartless bladeocracy at WotC. Why not 'mace-mangler' or 'head-clubber'?

Oh, la-de-da with your pansy rapiers and greatswords. Whatever happened to bludgeoning an opponent to death?

Gone are the days when a barbarian was respected for taking down a troll with nowt but a nobbly cudgel. Nowadays, it has to be some airy-fairy masterwork blade, forged and refolded a million times by some master swordsmith in his magic forge. You modern kids wouldn't recognise a morningstar if it bashed you in the head.

What next? The i-sword, complete with TV ads and viral marketing? Ha! Don't come crying to me when your beautiful elven broadsword is snapped off in someone's armour.

Throw away your whetstones and live for a change. Dilettantes.
