The Unconfirmable Elric Rumor.

This being the only place I've found the rumor, I find I must ask once again--does anyone here know FOR CERTAIN that Moonglum was written out of the series for the White Wolf Editions? And once again, I want proof, not "I heard from some guy".

Well? Anybody?

Unfortunately, that site doesn't allow any access to anything!

Yeah- it seems to be down at the moment. Weird.

I posted the question over there a couple days ago- haven't gotten any responses as yet, though.

I searched the site when this thread first appeared, but the sheer number of references to Moonglum (and they have no advanced search) made it difficult to tell whether it had been covered already or not. I scanned through the first 40 Q&A sessions that matched Moonglum's name and there was no mention of it there, but due to the structure of the search results, I have no idea if there were only, say, 3 more to check or 300 (it just has "next results" at the bottom of the search pages).

Well, it's been several days, and the only resopnse I've gotten to the question thus far is this, from a person calling himself "Doc":

Although I wouldn't call any of my answeres definitive, I can assure you he's in there.

From his rating, Doc's a pretty prolific poster on Multiverse.org. Will keep you all updated if I get any other responses.

The latest update. From a post by Oren Douek on the Multiverse message boards:

I have those editions, and you can rest assured Moonglum is there, of course! Michael wouldn't have allowed their publication if it weren't the case, I can assure you. On the contrary, the US White Wolf editions are the preferrable ones. The only thing missing (in all omnibus editions, US and UK ones, so it seems) is the short prelim to The Stealer of Souls.

So, unless someone else has some more definitive evidence, I hope that we can lay this rumor of Moonglum's disappearance to rest.
