I think I'd agree with this assessment.

They lumped the Planes and the Deities forum together, I'd rather have put the Deities board with the Epic one and left the Planes alone.

Is it slower to load now?

I don't like the ugly menu bars with vertical and horizontal arrows that appear at the bottom of pages so you can go to other articles in the same archive.

The menu bar is easy enough to suppress. Got to your user control panel (first link on the left on the forum menu bar) and choose option. You can desactive the menu bar from there; you can also disable the fixed width, which will make the boards better proportionned to your screen and remove the menu bar.

The Wizards boards are actually a collection of different communities. I've always found the D&D Miniatures forums to be a rather friendly place (with one or two occasional exceptions), where both Rob Heinsoo and Mike Donais will post about the game.

Then you wander into other forums where the atmosphere is a lot less friendly.

The content on the enworld forums is like fine wine, and the wizards forums content is like cheap beer. You can have alot of fun out of both if you try.

Spoony Morris worked hard on the upgrade, I think he did a great job.

Um. Now he's enjoying all the *cough* rewards for his time and effort; tons of money from wizards' generous paycheck, and lavish praise from all the friendly posters over there... :\

Wait, are you saying, that I was hanging out with a 'rich' man at the Gen Con among our midst????
