Greetings and Salutations!
Lets get right into it, My name is Arcadum and I am a professional gamemaster.
Now you may ask, what does that mean exactly? Well let me give you some info.
I have for the past 3 years turned my longtime hobby of 13 years into a profession and now for the first time in a while I have arranged to open up 21 new player slots, that's 3 groups (on average) to be added to my current lineup of 5 groups. The days are flexible and vary so do not be discouraged.
Since I am sure you have lots of questions, I will try to answer any basic ones here to streamline the process.
Character Creation Rules
The following are character creation rules used in the Verum setting under the pathfinder rule system.
30 point buy
Hp at first level is maxed (except in the campaign 7 Years and 7 Days in which it is doubled, more on that later)
Hp per level follows the formula of rolling average plus one, for example on a d8 the lowest you can get is 5, the game is designed around you having the lowest hitpoint total, so as to give a small advantage to the players, at least in terms of a permanent stat.
Races - All standard and most other races, with a willingness to work with concept to get what the player needs. (obvious exceptions like Drow Nobles and what not aren't allowed.)
Classes - All Paizo approved, with the exception of gunslingers and master summoners. There are a few 3rd party classes I have considered and as always I am willing to work with concept.
Concept - I am a big believer in concept and I can assure you that any character you want to make (within reason) I can recreate in pathfinder (or as close as possible) and will do whatever I can to make it playable for you. (Please remember that it will be balanced in any case.)
Campaigns
I have about 3 campaigns that are completed, with the 4th being my best work (and longest) it requires more information to be explained in person. They have differing degrees of difficulty and I have no problems taking on new players to the system. The only campaign I would not suggest for new players is 7 Years and 7 Days, due to its difficulty.
The following are brief synopsis' on the campaigns I offer.
- The Moaning Mountain -
Difficulty level - Simple
Combat/social - 60%/40%
Overall theme/feel - Classic adventure, dungeon crawling, short timeline.
The people of the bustling village of Crosswind are thought to be a
strange bunch. The town itself lies nestled in a fertile valley with access
to fresh clean water. Unfortunately, the town also lies in the shadow of the
infamous Moaning Mountain. In this adventure, the party will unravel the mystery
of the mountain itself, and defend the good citizens of Crosswind from a terrible
evil that lurks inside.
Character levels Start at 1st, end at 5th.
-Shadows in the Night-
Difficulty Level - Moderate
Combat/Social - 60%-40%/40%-60% (Represents a change throughout the campaign.)
Overall theme/feel - Conspiracy, Subterfuge, Hunting, Religious
They say that children are afraid of the dark because, they are children.
Tis a shame that children are wiser than they seem. In this adventure, the party
will find themselves traveling all over Verum, in an attempt to unravel a mystery and bring
a conspiracy to light and a religion to its knees.
Character levels Start at 1st, end at 8th.
-A Broken Compass-
Difficulty level - Challenging
Combat/social - 70%/30% (This particular campaign takes place in a desoltate part of Verum and therefore it is high in survival elements, so most Rp will be done through the players working together)
Overall them/feel - Survival, Fear, Overwhelming Odds.
"No matter how well you plan, something will always go wrong."
the mantra of Sebastian Stroud, current employer of the party, echos
through thier minds, as a simple delivery mission goes catastrophically wrong.
Now the party is lost in one of the most dangerous places in Verum. The Badlands.
Character levels start at 5th, end at 10th.
An finally, if you possess the strong heart,
- 7 Years and 7 Days -, (Warning! Not recommended for new players.)
Difficulty Level - Soul Crushing (Different and more powerful character building rules.)
Combat/Social 50%/50%
Overall theme/feel - An epic story where your characters will become demi-gods and do something so unbeleivable that I will not spoil it in anyway.
To give the synopsis of this game justice, I would prefer to explain this game in VC.
Character levels start at 1st and end at 30th (big time commitment.)
How is it done?
We use maptools as our preferred virtual tabletop, version b-87. Although there has been some discussion of using roll20, the only help I would need is transferring maps and other images
We use Skype as our preferred voice chat medium, note this is subject to change on party request, I have no problem with vent and what not.
Voice chat vs Text - Voice chat is not mandatory, although being able to hear your fellow players and me obviously, is required. Voicing your character is encouraged and any roleplay over the top will be justly rewarded.

Now I know that most of you do not have a clue who I am and I cant wait to meet you, I also know you don't want to game with someone you don't trust. So the following players of mine (if they haven't posted responses to this thread already.) are ready and willing to give character references and give their impressions of the game I run.

Pay to Play
As I said above, I make my living running these games and it is done so through the players. I provide a product they seem to enjoy and I invite you to at least try it.
The price is 7 USD a session, payed through Paypal (in most cases.) Character creation sessions and the first game session are always free, so you have nothing to lose to simply try it.
Now I suspect that there might be some that will judge me harshly without ever even playing in one of my games and I respect their opinions, but I would like to ask those that disagree not to flame the thread as in the past it has locked some threads and made it harder for me to reach out to players.
I cannot wait to run for all of you! These slots will fill up fast and as I must to be fair, it will be on a first come first serve basis.
The main way to contact me and what I use for my games and just about everything else is through Skype.
Skype Name - Arcadum
Thank you all for your time. I look forward to running for you!
