Thanks for all the inspiration. I'm a few steps closer to creating that "typical" gnomish name. Looks like something rather short, a bit funny, and perhaps a bit halfling-like should do the trick.

Look at a page of baseball rosters (especially from the late 19th-early 20th century), some of the names could make great inspirations for gnomes.

A recent Mets player (now on the Phillies) Turk Wendell is a decent Gnome name, and any baseball fan will tell you that his personality fits a gnomes' as well!
