I'd like to take the opportunity (now that I have one) to apologise to all three of you (and any others offended for similar reasons) for what I can most logically put down to my feelings about an unpleasant form of extended 'crossfire' occurring IRL at the time. I have no wish to burden/bore/etc. anyone here with the details though. Suffice to say, it was not very nice, and I should've calmed down and sorted my own stuff out before posting on a messageboard. . . with other people on it.
I'm not making excuses for my behaviour, and I won't, as there really can't be one.
My offensiveness was unwarrented (that, and such things always are on these, and most other forums anyway) - I've had ample time to fully realise this. And I do. . . fully.
Apart from all else, I took things way out of context, looked at things all askew, and generally made a right mess of large sections of what could (should) have been free of such things.
Sincerely I offer you my apology. I hope it somehow gets through the (highly likely) IL's.
