Yes. There is a good mix of people that go to gaming stores, and shockingly enough some of them are female.

There is also a staggeringly high percentage of individuals to whom females (excepting their mothers) are a rare and exotic species.

Actually I must agree with Crothian.

Over the last 2 years, with each successive con I've been too, From Gencon 03, to Winter Fantasy 04 and So Cal 03, and Gencon 04, to Winter Fantasy 05.... At each con the amount of female gamers....and not just female gamers but attractive female gamers has been rising and rising and rising. The majority of them arent single either.

Apparently more and more of us male gamers are bringing our ladies into the fold. (Either that or know enough not to drool over a female gamer so we actually have a chance to impress them somehow).

Its a really good trend. There are more female gamers today then ever before. Hell in the last two weeks a female friend of mine started to play D&D. And if I have anything to say about it, within the next month my own girlfriend will be completly brought into the fold.
