Things I LIKE about Mongoose

And they got Allen Varney to write it - double plus good

Mixed opions on
Slayers Guides - especially the joke titles

No real use for
Quintessential books

Paranoia was great! I was so thrilled with it and thrilled with the idea that they went back to the original roots of the game as opposed to the lame direction it was taken towards the end by West End. I wrote a review of it for ENWorld and even interviewed some of the writers of the old game/contributors of the current one.

Despite the fact that I did not like the art at all, Macho Women With Guns is a fun little product. I enjoyed the original game and this was a pretty good representation.

As for Pocket Paranoia (Paranoia CE?), we are talking about it. No firm plans yet but we are mulling over the idea.

Contrary to apparent perception, I am also a Mongoose customer. Hopefully that qualifies me to comment freely.

1) The rules for Organizations (very clever).

BAB5 is well done, up and beyond that I have little experience with Mongoose.

OGL Horror (about the only thing in the book that wasn't copy and pasted from the d20 Modern SRD...)
