Things that make you go hmmm.

Ever wonder why NPC spellcasters charge 100gp for a first level spell even though hamlets and villiages don't have that kind of money?

You mean 10gp? (Spell Level * Caster Level * 10gp = base rate for spellcasting services)

Additionally, do you ever notice that those who often have the biggest problems with Rules System X also tend to have the least clue about how Rules System X works?

EDIT:

The above isn't a personal attack directed at anyone here. It's just something I've come across a lot on a number of different boards.

There are orcs and half-orcs. There are elves and half-elves. Why aren't there any lings to go with halflings?

Or to go with dwarves, or gnomes. And what would an elf/gnome hybrid be, f'r instance?
A gnelf? :D

And another thing that makes me go "hmmm..." - how many threads that are started by Quasqueton. :p

Ever notice that a human can use a halfling longspear one-handed and get reach? :)

Yes, but they get -2 to their attack for using a weapon of the wrong size category...
But then again... Dual-wielding is fun.

100.

Check RttToEE, temple of St. Cuthbert. A terrific module, but one with things that make you go "Hmmmm."

I feel like I start threads and repond to threads all day long, and yet my post count is like 1/10th what some others are. And I know some others on here also post on other boards. How in the world do they do it? Run bots? [Bots would explain some things.] :-)
