Quite right, I don't know what came over me. After all, what's a sophisticated role-play session without phat lewtz?

Well, actually, no phat lewtz was involved. You know I have a thing about looting, don't you?

Just lots of salsa, BG-style.

Hmmm? No, I didn't.

Do you have the bodies of the fallen slowly dissapear or sink into the ground? My respect for you will increase tenfold if that's the case.

I just have the players loot the bodies and then the bodies are swept up by an invisible janitor that follows people around. Rather considerate of him, really.

I usually just assume that the bodies fade out, leaving behind puddles of blood which then dry up as well. Once in a blue moon, there'll also be an item to pick up (something like ten blue moons popped up at once in the last dungeon, when they picked up ~200,000 gp worth of stuff over two sessions). This has two main benefits:

- Focuses attention on the important things, namely the people who are still alive and kicking, rather than inanimate objects (did I mention that items on a corpse are also automagically immune to blast spells?)

- Keeps the framerate up. This, as you know, is very important.
