Berates both LightPheonix and Mark Chance for attempting to hijack the thread, totally ignoring the hypocracy of the statement.

Berates Silver Moon for spelling phoenix with an "eo", makings comments about various family members of aforementioned poster, and makes several obscene gestures along with lewd ASCII art.

Notes Nifft's passive tone and the fact that he is duplicating an argument made throughout the entire first page. Disparages the notion of subscribing to that line of thought and suggests that it is way too politically correct, thus inherantly incorrect.

I check the thread, but only skim to see how my own "ideas" have been received. They have not received the positive, glowing attention to which I feel they are entitled, so I snipe tersely (and entirely off-topic-ly) at Baraendur.

Roll into the thread late and groggy, claim that alarm clock didn't go off. Fight urge to get sucked into another thread that will somehow all end up my fault in the end, but realize that I am actually just itching for another showdown, decide to take steps this time to make sure that everything doesn't get thrown back in my face before I start in with my assult on a topic I actually am not familiar with.

Now for jdavis well thought out and researched reply which is obviously why people are still hanging around this thread:

It's a group preference thing:D :D

You can now return to your regularly scheduled posting.

(how was I to know that the vampire cow would push things too far? It wasn't my fault, several people posted after me. honest I didn't mean any harm, it was just a vampire cow that was killed by a talking duck.)

Quotes entirety of the longest post thus far, including tangents and insults to various board members. In a failed attempt to add something new to the thread, highlights 99% of the quoted post (also including tangents and insults to various board members).

States complete agreement with quoted post.

Professes undying, thus-far-secret love for one of the above-insulted board members.

Closes with a Shameless Plug for a completely non-gaming-related, badly coded personal web page.

Welcome to the final test of wills, the Troll thread test.

You do realize that Tallarn has stuff taped to his face, Baraendur actually does glow like that, alsih2o may be a shapechanging gnome, Silver Moon is apparently just too Scottish, and I just realized that BiggusGeekus strongly resembles the Greatest American Hero guy. (For those of you I missed well I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually  )

Makes fun of Silver Moon, the correct "tenth post 2nd page" poster. Links to some off topic website, possibly offending eric's grandman. I mean ma.

Requests that he be allowed to deal with Gibberlings in Mutants and Masterminds
Agrees to allow Tallarn to do the Superhero Gibberlings section in Volume III, despite the fact that SilverMoon had been saving that for himself. Reassigns the D20 Modern sections to Rel.

Takes the high road and totally ignores insults from Grim and LightPhoenix.

Makes superficial comments about the original topic, even a mild attempt to say on tipic. Real reason for this post is just to bring post count up to an even 700.

Attaches a photo from the 1960' sit-com "My Mother the Car".

Accidently makes double post. Curses self for no longer having an even number. Decides to edit out double post, but needs to first think of something else to say. Notices that jdavis has bought into absurd conspiracy theory. Posts comments stating that it is good to see that jdavis has decided to own up to his prior mistake.

Accidently makes double post yet again. Curses self again. Decides not to even attempt to look for something else to say, instead steals Baraendur's entire original post verbatim, without either quoting him or crediting him for the commentary. Concludes with the statement "And now that I have restated the original argument in a more straight-forward manner, I hope that everyone will now agree."

Catches yet another typo but manages to edit it this time without making another post.

Points out that we have already determined in a prior thread that it IS jdavis fault

~~ eerie music plays in background ~~

this thread is hauntingly familar....

I make the statement that a game mechanic we are all familliar with is absolutely spectacular! Not only is it wonderfully designed, but power gamers with certain class/feat combinations will have a nice walk in the park on a sunny day.

I suggest that the designers were under the influence of Touched By An Angel when creating this game mechanic, and furthermore suggest that DM's that allow their players to use it.

End lengthy, long-winded rant (2,000+ words) by pointing out that the last thread of this nature went 11 pages before the moderators were forced to shut it down by 1 million angry monkeys who needed to get back to writing the works of Shakespear!

Thanks Baraendur for his insight and dedication to the game
