Berates both LightPheonix and Mark Chance for attempting to hijack the thread, totally ignoring the hypocracy of the statement.

Berates Silver Moon for spelling phoenix with an "eo", makings comments about various family members of aforementioned poster, and makes several obscene gestures along with lewd ASCII art.

 

[Nifft]

Notes Nifft's passive tone and the fact that he is duplicating an argument made throughout the entire first page. Disparages the notion of subscribing to that line of thought and suggests that it is way too politically correct, thus inherantly incorrect.

I check the thread, but only skim to see how my own "ideas" have been received. They have not received the positive, glowing attention to which I feel they are entitled, so I snipe tersely (and entirely off-topic-ly) at Baraendur.

Roll into the thread late and groggy, claim that alarm clock didn't go off. Fight urge to get sucked into another thread that will somehow all end up my fault in the end, but realize that I am actually just itching for another showdown, decide to take steps this time to make sure that everything doesn't get thrown back in my face before I start in with my assult on a topic I actually am not familiar with.

I make the statement that a game mechanic we are all familliar with is absolutely spectacular! Not only is it wonderfully designed, but power gamers with certain class/feat combinations will have a nice walk in the park on a sunny day.

I suggest that the designers were under the influence of Touched By An Angel when creating this game mechanic, and furthermore suggest that DM's that allow their players to use it.

End lengthy, long-winded rant (2,000+ words) by pointing out that the last thread of this nature went 11 pages before the moderators were forced to shut it down by 1 million angry monkeys who needed to get back to writing the works of Shakespear!
