D&D General This Maztica sourcebook bears an uncanny resemblance to a modern meme

A recent video going over Maztica's history prompted me to make this post.

The bottom image is a reference template for Two Soyjaks Pointing.

The juxtaposition of the people on the City of Gold sourcebook looks similar to the meme setup IMO, thus prompting my comparison.

It really does feel like history repeats itself!

OP is, I think, just pointing out that there's a great visual similarity between the modern meme and this old cover.
Sharing something they thought was funny, with a group of like-minded individuals. I guess it'd more appropriate to something short-lived, like a discord channel, rather than a forum post... but I think I get it, at least!
