Ok that might be overstating the case but....

Current campaign : reflections (story hour was started but not kept up)

Group layout:
2 Scotsmen 1 druid 1 barbarian
1 Viking wizard
the rest are Europeans
1 paladin
1 priest
1 rogue

So anyway event occurs to group and we all start changing physically, gaining traits.
My Viking wizard started to gain cold endurance.

Anyway my wizard shortly died and was resurrected as an ORC!

So ha ha I’m an orc, ha ha a wizard with a 17 str

Anyway… turns out the Scotsmen become elves.

So our group has an orc wizard and and an elf barbarian.

What are the chances?

This is my game. I admit that when the wizard was reincarnated as an orc that the irony wasn't lost on me. But watching the barbarian player call him "orc" over and over again tested my strength as I already knew what was looming on the horizon. Add to this that from the very beginning of the campaign the barbarian was adamant on the fact that there was no such thing as "elves" in the first place.

I love how they are always getting the wizard to come up to the front of the group to try and break down any stuck doors.

Good one, Voadam. ;)

I'm one of those boring DMs who has a world filled with cultures that roughly equate to the real world. The others in the group are comprised as follows:

The Fighter/Cleric/Paladin (I use the Paladin PrC from UA) would be considered French
The Cleric/Apostle of Peace would be considered English
The Rogue would be considered English-Italian

Vikings and scotsmen were not europeans?
Maybe he meant contintental Europeans.

Which only makes sense if the Vikings are from Iceland or something, of course.
