Man, Star Wars got punched in the nose but good.

Good thing it made it's money on the first opening weekend because once Batman Begins and other heavies start hitting, it's over for this puppy.

Your list is interesting. This year I've seen more movies in the theater than I have in well, years.

1. Sin City
2. Kung Fu Hustle
3. Revenge of the Sith

That's about it for now, but Cindarella Man and a few others are on the list!

Making $26 Million on your third weekend after release is actually pretty impressive. Also, Episode III just became the fastest movie in history to make $300 Million domestically.

Yeah, Sith STILL beat out Cinderella Man by a good $8 Million. That's nothing to sneeze at, considering its Cinderella Man's first weekend and its Sith's third.

I'm actually more surprised that Madagascar and Longest Yard(or one of them) didn't beat Sith out LAST week.

Oddly enough, I've been hearing good things about BOTH Madagascar and Longest Yard.

yeah movies aren't like they were afew yearsago when there actually was a movie that could dominate the box office for weeks on end. Nowdays you'rea hit if you lead the first two weeks. Heck three weeks would have been a miracle for star wars.

Check that out. Batman Begins will be big, but they pushed it back for a reason. It won't be OVER for Star Wars, but Batman won't have the kind of power that's put Sith as the 19th top grossing films in only THREE WEEKS. Within the next few days, it could easily overtake both Jedi and Episode II, and its still making good money on a daily basis.
