Those Compiled Lists

Mark, the compiled lists are a boon to all DMs, and I appreciate you doing them. I had to do a minor tweek to them so that the fractional CRs on the monsters come out as fractions and not as dates, but that is minor.

Missed that. What's the quick fix for that? (Highlight the column and Alt + ? something or other?) I appreciate the feedback. If I can do it myself, or with your help, I'll upload a fixed list in a new zip file.

I basically resorted the file by CR, reaplaced the first instance of each one and pasted that into the rest. Then I resorted it back to the alphabetical list.

I also added a second tab to the monster list with the key to the books, because I don't know all of them by their abbreviations.

I can send you the corrected file, if you like.

Ah, I think I have it. I sorted by CR, then highlighted those that were formated as dates. Then I right clicked, went to "format cell" and chose "date" where I used the third option so that they appeared as a proper fraction. Thanks for pointing it out and feel free to mention if there is an alternate way to achieve the same ends.

*edit* I see we've crossed in the mail.

Anyway, all set and I've uploaded a corrected exl file in a new zip file to replace the old monster list. Thanks, again!

You are quite welcome. Just so everyone knows, the file includes all of the latest updates through March 2007. Now we just need them to update the miniatures list....

Sadly, WotC has not updated the list past Blood Wars. While the consolidated lists don't take me any time to prepare in Excel, typing in all the data on the minis sure does! If I happen to get some time soon I will do that, otherwise I will be lazy and wait for WotC to do it for me.
