Sorry. I meant, of course, Robert A. Heinlein, famed creator of Conan and founder of the Church of Scientology.

Isn't he the co-founder with Peter Adkinson? ;)

Feh! You know, of course, that it's spelled Adkison.

This is just a troll to mislead people into misspelling Adkison, isn't it?

Either that, or you're trying to provoke me into reposting my Adkison correction.

Well, it won't work! I'm not going to mention Adkison any more. :p

(And besides, no, it wasn't Adkison who co-founded Scientology with Robert A. Heinlein, but L. Ron Hubbard. It's an obscure fact that Ayn Rand bet RAH and LRH that they couldn't found their own religion (a feat that Rand handily achieved with her own Church of Libertinism), and the two H's took her up on it. The letter H has had special significance in SF circles to this day, which explains characters like Harlan Ellison, Joe Haldeman, Robert E. Howard, and Tracy Hickman. I particularly admire Tracy's work, which is quite remarkable for a female in a traditionally male-dominated field.

HTH!

Hong, you rock.

That reminded me of a guy on the dragonlance mailing list (IIRC) who claimed that Tracy Hickman was his aunt. That prompted an amusing little discussion...
