I just checked. Drizz doesn't have Cleave. He's also CR 18. What's the CR of 1,000 Orcs?

Appropos of nothing: I just found out that the FRCS alphabetizes their NPCs by first name. Odd.

Unfortunately, given where Drizzt is, I think only five orcs can get at him at once, and I'm guessing drow-boy has five attacks a round.

Technically, the EL of 1000 non-classed orcs is *about* 18, actually. So it's supposed to be a fair fight!

Done. It's down to 11 lines, no pictures, meaning it's taking up less space than most who have pictures in their .sig.

I can point to many who have .sigs that are longer, if you'd like, so you can notify them as well (and not make it look like I've been targeted for some weird moderator vengeance).

If this isn't sufficient, let me know what the maximum length is for a .sig.

Though, of course, this kind of thing should really be dealt with in email, don't you think?

All huge text sigs are too big, and generally do get mentioned. That's standard, but apparently you don't believe the rules apply to you, or at least they don't if they come from my mouth.

C'mon Ash, how can all that be too long? Although, I did hear somewhere that standard "netiquette" regarding MsgBrds states that if your sig is longer than your post, ya probably need to cut it (your sig) down. So, either Forrester needs to learn to ramble in his posts for quite a while or cut his sig way down.

Maybe some of the orcs have levels in other classes, pushing up their CR

It is poor netiquette to have a sig that long, longer especially than your post. It's spammy.

I am sure he can much more succinctly display his displeasure with me and munchkins in a shorter paragraph, wouldn't you agree?

I don't believe you're mentioned anywhere IN the .sig, Ashtal.

It's down to 9 lines. Grazzt's .sig is seven lines, and Carnifex's is eight. So I'm obviously in the ballpark. And there are a lot of .sigs out there that are LONGER, when the pictures are included -- and for the life of me I can't see why they shouldn't be.

If you want it any shorter, I'm sure you'll be able to give me an Official Word Count or .sig length to base my edits on. I'm sure they're somewhere in those rules you keep referring to that you refuse to . . . well, refer me to.

And stop taking things so personally. I would think you would approve of my .sig. I want to make it clear that I'm not really criticizing anyone, anywhere, at any time, about anything, no matter how boneheadedly stupid they might actually be. And as Dawn said to Buffy about those little outbursts of singing in Once More With Feeling, "What could be wrong with that?"

It's thirteen lines on my screen, and in most of the cases, longer than your actual post. Not all of us have large monitors that display everything at great lenths. I am running on a simple 800x600, and it looks big to me.

And Buffy quotes don't earn any brownie points with me, BTW.
