Thousand Orcs book cover

Maybe some of the orcs have levels in other classes, pushing up their CR :-)

I have a horrible hunch that all that's going to do is up the amount of xp Drizzt gets after the battle. Stinking cheaty drow.

I should say, of course, that as a munchkinny drow Drizzt has the utmost right to kill whoever he wants to kill, without having to be worried about criticism from anyone about it. Whatever he likes to do, he should be able to do, without being questioned, disparaged, or insulted in any way. Even if he grows six more arms and starts throwing his (now Returning) scimitars at the orcs during the battle.

PS Ashtal:

EDIT: Oh, never mind! I'm hoping you can live with this new .sig length. It's not the longest out there, that's for sure. And I'll no doubt change it soon enough.

EDITED EDIT: Well, I guess you can't. I await Official Word on how precisely how long the new .sig is supposed to be. Because I've edited it down twice so far, and neither attempt was good enough.

I am glad WotC is finally making some good covers.
Wow! Cool cover, much better then the last few drizzt books, the Homeland-to-Sojurn covers were good.
But that last one with the close up of drizzt's face was kinda not so good, it's nice to see they have done better with the new one.

My guess is during the corse of the book drizzt is going to kill 1000 orcs, he is a ranger after all, not all of them have to be at once, the cover has like less then 30 on it.

I like the fact that it's a dynamic cover - too many, IMO, end up looking portrait styled. Which can be cool, sure, but this one really captures the eye, moves it around the image, and gives you a sense of peril and derring-do.

But then again, I think overall the art direction in 3E has had that dynamic edge. IIRC all the Classbooks had images of the iconics right in the middle of things, save for Sword & Fist, which was another, more posed one.

I suggest acronymising it.

C'mon Ash, how can all that be too long? Although, I did hear somewhere that standard "netiquette" regarding MsgBrds states that if your sig is longer than your post, ya probably need to cut it (your sig) down. So, either Forrester needs to learn to ramble in his posts for quite a while or cut his sig way down. :)

4 lines of text, but that was a long time ago, on a network far, far away.

It would be more confortable for everyone if he would put the whole sig in a text file and change it's sig to a "Disclaimer" with a link to the text file...
:D

Down to seven lines!

*whew* That was tough, but I did it! Good enough?

Horacio -- if I had a website, I'd do exactly that. Anyone want to lend me a little space on theirs? That'd be a-okay by me!

EDIT: Horacio, what's your email? I can't get it by clicking your profile. And it looks like *sniff* I'll be going away for a lil' while . . .
