I hope the title says it all. Here we go:

- Warblade1/Bard7 archer: High charisma, haste spell and Song of the White Raven plus the bow of songs (swift action in the second round) for CHA mod to hit and damage plus Inspire Courage.
- Dragonshaman: full armored tank with polearm for ground control and basic healer. If he goes down, the bard can heal him up a bit.
- Psion: Firepower at it's best.

Approved.

No. He would do well in a large party, but not a small one.

Hmmmm. There's nothing wrong with a Psion, but using one for firepower is risky. Direct damage sucks.

- - -

Warblade 1 / Bard 7 - Archery + haste
Druid 8 - Summoner + disposable minion + emergency melee
Nomad 5 / Thrallherd 3 - Controller + wheelman + disposable minion(s)

The Warblade has taken Leadership to get a Cleric, of course.

Cheers, -- N

Barbarian with Greatsword. The classic. Damage, HP & mobility.
Wizard - versitlity, battlefield control, damage - carry a few utility scrolls: knock, see invis, enlarge person. and a wand with a simple attack - mm(9th) or ray of enfeeblement.
Druid: scouting, buffs, cures, flamestrike, ignore minons unless desprate. wand for healing.

Bards work better in a large party of physical fighters, animal companions and summoned monsters. They work well with druids. In this party, only two characters benefit from haste and inspire courage.

Likewise a rogue isn't great in a small party, no one to flank with.

How many encounters do you expect per day? That affects things a lot. If it's one per day, psions, and to a lesser degree other casters, will own. If you expect many encounters per day, go for a Tome of Battle class.

The bard in this example works pretty well without anyone to buff at all ;) Mostly due to the MIC song of bows change...

Dragonshaman: Fine, let's take a druid with Healing Touch Reserve feat for out of combat healing...

The threesome should be able to take on all kinds of encounters, a few hard ones per day or many per day.
