A few comments from Rob Heinsoo and Mike Donais on the upcoming non-collectable Card Game, Three-Dragon Ante.
Rob Heinsoo:
Three-Dragon Ante is a noncollectible card game, a 70 card deck plus two info cards. Illustrated as if you were getting cards actually used in the D&D world. It's a gambling game a touch more complex than Hearts but with the mercenary attitude of poker. But I designed it to play differently than poker; instead of folding out of hands, you keep playing to try and get better cards for the next hand or to steal money from the stakes.
There'll be a one-page preview ad for the game in issue #336 of Dragon.
Mike Donais:
It is actually an awesome game. I highly recommend checking it out.
It is flavored as the game that your D&D characters would play if they were sitting around a tavern. I think there is a small section that mentions how to use it in your game too.
It plays fast and loose and is much fun with 3-6 people and some drinks.

(There is a reference to 3DA in the MoH adventure "No Ticket")
The game will be coming out in November this year.
Cheers!
