I just got back from running my first game with a new group. Started at first level. VERY first combat, the dwarven cleric of the god of battle, the first 3 rounds He rolls 3 natural 1's in a row. I never seen anything like it. It was beautiful.

Clear sign, his god has abandoned him. Time to become a follower of Vecna :p

I have a friend who after rolling seven or eight attack rolls in a row that were 5 or under, calmly stood up (d20 in hand), walked over to the sliding glass doors to the porch on my third floor apartment, opened them up, stepped outside, launched the d20 deep into the woods, walked back in, closed the door behind him, and sat back down without a word. I recommend a similar course of action.

To get my dice to be nice I usually rub them on a willing girls cleavage or on a picture of boobies

It tends to work well.
I am suddenly distraught with the idea that we have a distinct lack of boobies at my gaming table ;)

I saw a DM roll four 20s in a row...on a d20. Needless to say, those purple dice are now forever labelled "player killers"

BTW, the DM and players make all our combat rolls on the table in the open.

Back a decade or so ago, our old DM, when his bad guys weren't doing well in combat, putted his d20 in his bag of Ruffles All-Dressed Chips. After a good shake, he sucked on the d20 real good (no to waste the seasoning on the dice) then rolled... almost always a natural 20.

That DM got his chips stolen so much often. :D
