Thrown weapons and multiple targets

I disagree with this interpretation. It says that the item returns once a "ranged attack is resolved." I interpret that to mean a single attack roll, not the entire power. Thus, I'd rule that it returns after each "to-hit" roll. (Any other interpretation makes them woefully weaker than magic bows.) Thus, if you have a magic dagger or shuriken, for instance, it applies to all targets of blinding barrage and similar powers.
I agree, with Mouseferatu. Also, if you don't like the idea of it magically coming back to you, another way it could be handled is to do something similar to Jarlaxle.

He has bracers that can magically generate daggers that he throws, since they generate at a fast rate he can throw numerous ones rapidly. Thus with Blinding Barrage that is exactly what your doing.

Eh, thrown weapons have their own advantages, being able to be used in melee with out penalty, as well as always being able to be recovered after a battle. But, honestly, the only class who is probably going to be using thrown weapons with such powers is the rogue, which are automatically proficient with Shuriken.

Shuriken are priced per 5 of the things, after all, so he'll likely have all the shuriken he needs for a single power, whether or not each one returns before the next attack.

Of course, personally, I hate that all magical thrown weapons are returning... just seems... silly to me.

I actually like that rule. The idea of carrying around dozens of +4 throwing axes is even more silly to me than the idea that the 'returning' enchantment on a throwing weapon is 'standard issue'.

And I could swear that I read in the book that the action cost of a power includes the time necessary to reload/redraw.

I agree carrying dozens of throwing axes is silly, but to me it's just as silly to have thrown weapons all be returning.

Use shuriken if you must throw a weapon every round.
