I just picked up his set for Dunjinni and it looks great. Hopefully he does a second set.

He has a Dunjinni set eh? Now I'm interested in that product even more.... I'll have to go hunt down some information about that. Is the info on Ed's site or Dunjinni's site?

Joe I'm not sure where the set is at but I saw a dungeon using them on the Map Boards at Dunjinnin and it was cool as heck. Should check those out if you are interested in the program. Its nice to see the users getting support and doing tutorials and such.

Dave,

SKG Webmaster Art here...

I print the SKG tiles onto full sheet (8.5" x 11") stickers, mount them on to magazine or comic book backer boards, and then cut them out.

They turn out very nice.

You can find the full page stickers on eBay for a pretty good price.

Ciao!

Thanks - that's an interesting idea...and I might do something like that.

(But I'd still prefer full-color cardstock tiles I could purchase. :) )

I downloaded the free annual from RPGNow and was impressed with the tiles. I'll definitely be getting some of the wilderness sets before I DM again. I've got a bunch of Dwarven Forge for dungeon interiors but the wilderness tiles will be really nice for doing outside settings.

One thing I've done with the Wilderness Tiles is to cut them all the way out and then use them as a template over my Tact-Tiles. Works very well. Lends the Tact-Tiles a better form and shape than I could provide for certain areas.

Overlaying them on the tact-tiles is another thign I've considered. Maybe blu-tack?

I would second the idea of promoting the tiles on Maxminis. I'm a regular there, and people have definitely started talking about terrain. In fact, it's the General Discussion area where terrain threads are posted, so it would get pretty good visibility.

I think the Maxminis forum has broadened since it focused on tournaments. We've had terrain modelling discussions in the general forum and discussions about Castles & Crusades in the Roleplaying area - it's still mainly focused on the mini side of everything, but that's EXACTLY what these tiles are about. It's http://maxminis.com

The Fiery Dragon set is nice for those who want preprinted on good cardstock tiles for quick use and even better, storeage.

Ah, I love those tins.

I hope that we see another collection/team up between Ed and Fiery Dragon in the future.

Our Stargate DM has bought lots of them and they are really cool.

It only ever freaks him out, if someone wants to move outside of the carefully built up area, because he then needs to find a suitable piece to attach to the border. :p

Bye
Thanee
