What can happen with my Pc's? I have had a spider thing of my own design, and I'm planning on some kobolds.

I was going to impliment dwarves-kobold-infestation, but have you got any ideas about any padding it out.

These evil creatures, vile sentiments left in now blocked caves by the corrupt Drow. Appearing to be 1-2 ft long spiders with a snake tail and head, fondly named “Elgluth orrb” Or Whip spider by the Drow.

Usually they jump from the ceiling or wall, and latch on, biting and stinging.

Enfeeblement Poison (Ex): The sting attack delivers a deadly toxin that (Fort save DC 10, initial 1d6 temporary Dex and 2d6 temporary Wisdom / secondary feeblemind). The feeblemind affects the victim as a spell of the same name cast by a 1st-level sorcerer.

Paralytic Poison (Ex): The bite delivers a paralytic poison (Fort save DC 10, initial 1d6 temporary Con 2d6 strength / secondary paralysis). The paralysis lasts for 1d6 rounds.

Grab (Ex): The Whip spider can leap from a surface grapple any creature (Unrelated to size), and then bite or sting it, just as the pounce and improved grab abilities.
That sort of thing.

Ferret, I love your posts. Especially the various monsters. I couldn't find Thunderpeak Mountain on the story hour or the In Character area, so I'm not clear on the context for your request in this thread.
I'd love to toss out some ideas, but I need more info.

They're going down a cave to search for "The forest's eye" they've encountered a dwarven community, very small though. They also slaughtered a group of kobolds and a sorcerer, Tucker critted the sorcerer from half hit points to brain aware. But thats as far as the got, they are just about to argue over the loot.

How 'bout the Forest's Eye is a gem that sucks in sunlight from far away and shines like the sun. The caves leading to it would be really dark (light being leeched to the Forest's Eye). At the eye, there is an underground forest where the light from the Eye bursts forth and is reflected off a cavern ceiling of reflective crystals. Then hit them with evil fey, or something. I published one that you could use (The Goblin Fair, Airweaver Games) - it's OGC - called the Arachnafee.

Arachnafee

Damage: longsword 1d8+2 or longbow 1d8
Face/Reach: 5ft by 5ft / 5ft.
Special Attacks: spell-like abilities
Special Qualities: immune to spells of enchantment school, darkvision 60 ft., freedom of movement.
Saves: Fort +2 Ref +5 Will +5
Abilities: Str 15 Dex 16 Con 11 Int 11 Wis 16 Cha 15
Skills: Hide +4, Move Silently +4, Listen +4, Spot +10, Climb +10, Jump +10
Feats: Improved Initiative, Weapon Focus (long sword)

Challenge Rating: 4
Treasure: standard
Alignment: Usually CE or NE
Advancement: by character class
The arachnafee are evil fey creatures, friends of spiders and the darkness. They are capable of speaking with and commanding ettercaps as well as monstrous spiders. Their original homes are in fey realms shrouded with spells and spider webs, and they are the source of several stories told to frighten children into good behavior. It is said that they steal babies and change them into ettercaps. Arachnafee look like elves with wrinkled grey skin and bulging black eyes, and they have the elven immunity to charm spells. However, if they are related to elves, the split happened so long ago that it has been forgotten.
Combat: Arachnafee can cast a web (spell-like ability) twice per day. They can move freely in their webs, and so can spiders and ettercaps. They will cast web spells and then fight in them, using their freedom of movement (and that of spider allies) to gain an advantage. Most arachnafee with class abilities are sorcerers or druids.

Dude, excellent Idea, but the name was absouloutly random, it hadn't have a name untill I ghad to think of what an Npc would call it. It's just a material component, but most excellent idea!
