The varied appearances of tieflings were always one of the coolest things about the race. (And, in my opinion, the main reason that aasimars always seemed lame by comparison. All they get is something lame like silver hair.)

Tiefling Tables

How should Tiefling traits be handled in 4E?

4E Tieflings should be consistent in appearance and abilities.

Tiefling players should choose/roll abilities from a list or table.

I have a system for Tieflings and I'm keeping it.
