Looks good so far Ed.

Is there a particular reason why it's a limited print run? The first one got a lot of high praise from numerous players here on En World and other sources so I'm kinda surprised. What numbers are we talking 500-1000 or ?

I really like that last picture, the one of the dead person. The rest of the pictures are good as werll. I like the maps as well, they have a good style to them.

Now you just need to start using more oozes :D

Well, all I can say is that it is a limited print run. I have put the quantity at a number so that it will probably sell out within the first couple of months, I expect.

This is not a gimmick, but rather the content is geared for mature readers only. So I've decided to put a cap on the number of copies available since the appeal is not as wide as the previous book.

Thanks! I'm glad you like them. :)

All of the pictures have direct connections to the story. There are no random pictures at all. You'll be surprised at some of the details that the artists include in them, if you read the text carefully.

Actually, there is a new monster called the Slimy Mold. Not only is it an ooze, but it also has poisonous spores that burst forth clouds of toxic gas. As you may know from the last book, there is a pre-generated character who is not going to like this at all. ;)

I tried to attach a pic, but it doesn't seem to upload. :(

Ed, Eric is a fantastic choice for interior art. I love his work! He is awesome.

Great job, real mood setting, I love it.

Good interview on Gamingreport.com too.

and I love the art in this book, remings me of THoT but different enough to be it's own. :D

I'm sure reading up about marshes makes one feel dirty for weeks.

I really enjoyed the Hamlet of Thumble and I'm sure looking forward this one! The artwork, story, and overall 'feel' strikes me an excellent work, although I can't put my finger on the exact reason I'm attracted to this particular series so strongly. Looking at the cover, I get that same tingle of excitment--the same way I felt a long time ago when I first saw "Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh" sitting on the store shelf. I knew it must be mine.

I just know what I like when I see it, and this is one I most definately like.

Eric Lofgren has been a true professional and a pleasure to work with. He has a style that I absolutely adore and I think that he has made an extra effort to kick it up a notch on this project. There is a lot of strong emotion and great facial expressions in these pics which I love! There are a lot of little details from the text that he's incorporated into the illustrations. :)
